Please postpone if…

  • Pregnancy or nursing
  • Active skin infection, cold sores, or open wounds in the treatment area
  • Active cancer, or under a consultant's care
  • Blood thinners (Heparin, Warfarin, Aspirin)
  • Currently on Roaccutane, or within 6 months of stopping
  • Recent sunburn
  • History of keloid scarring

Worth discussing

  • Diabetes (type 1, or type 2 on medication)
  • Autoimmune conditions: Lupus, MS, rheumatoid arthritis
  • History of cold sores / herpes simplex
  • Eczema or psoriasis
  • Botox, fillers or laser within the last 2 weeks
  • Using retinoids, glycolic acid or other active skincare
  • Known allergies to stainless steel or topical anaesthetic
